From 1971, over thirty years ago and a year before I became a Republican, this is the editorial comment I made about "partisan" politics in the Minnesota legislature in a college term paper.

Finally, although I support Tim Pawlenty for Governor and have sent him a small contribution, I admire the Independence Party candidate Tim Penny. Here is a column I wrote for Duluth's alternative press extolling Penny's virtues.
